Allegations Of Animal Abuse Pile Up For Owner Of Cell Pet Salon In San Jose




Rachel Murphy was deeply upset by the horrific experience his five pound dog Toto went through over the weekend. Rachel says that a hairdresser taped Toto r's jaw shut after the dog had been bitten. As a result, Toto r became bloody and upset.

Rachel said, "My pup was clearly in distress. What I initially thought was a muzzle turned out to be tape. Toto r's toenails were cut too close to his paws, which caused him to bite. His paws looked reddened and bruised.


The groomer responsible for these actions was employed by Wow! My Dog, a mobile pet salon.

Rachel immediately took Toto to the veterinarian for urgent medical attention. He has accused Wow! My Dog of animal abuse, joining numerous others who have made similar allegations. San Mateo's Office has now launched an animal cruelty investigation into Wow! My Dog.

Rachel explained the injuries that he saw, saying, "I observed wounds around the neck and genital region." The cuts were so deep that they caused blood to flow."
